Undergraduate Program: BBA (Bachelor of Business Administration)

The main objective of BBA program is to develop students with a concrete academic base aiming them to take and carry out the responsibilities as young executives.The program also facilitates the necessary knowledge and skills to the students who are planning their careers in government,semi-government and /or social organizations.The program provides a balanced and well-developed program of study in the field of business and general education at the undergraduate level with a strong emphasis on management disciplines.

Design of the Program :

The BBA curriculum consists of foundation, core, integrative and elective courses. The foundation and core courses are designed to equip the students with the basic knowledge and skills in the major business functional and analytical areas. The integrative courses provide students with opportunities to apply theories and practices from several disciplines to complex business and organizational problems. The elective courses allow each student to select advanced courses according to his / her particular interest in a given area of concentration.

Duration of the Program:

The Program extends over a period of four years divided into eight semesters in which a student can complete 120 credits. Students will be allowed to enroll in 5 Courses maximum in each semester.

Eligibility:

PUC admission is competitive.Minimum qualification for admission into BBA program is as follows:

• At least a second division or GPA 2.5 in SSC and HSC examination.

or

• GCE "O" Level five subjects with at least 10 points and "A" Level in two subjects with at least "C" grade.(Completed GCE 'O' level in five subjects & A level in two subjects with at least a GPA of 2.5 according to following scale:(A=4,B=3,C=2,D=1))

or

• Completed American High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Premier university admission test score and
• performance in the interview.

Admission test may be waived for candidates with minimum score of 1100 in SAt and at least 500 in Test Of English as a Foreign Language(TOEFL).Admission test also be waived for those who obtained GPA -5 in both SSC and HSC examination and applicants who got 4 as out of 5 in "O" level and TWO as in "A" Level examinations.

Duration of the Program :

The BBA program extends over a period of four years divided into eight semester is of 15weeks duration. A student can take maximum 15 credit hours in each semester.The total of  120 credit hours are required for a BBA degree.

Application Procedure:

A candidate should apply for written admission test within the time limit in the prescribed application from available from Premier University Information desk, on payment desk, on payment of TK. 300/- (Taka Three hundred) only. This can also be obtained by mail from Premier University Admission office by sending:

1.  A bank draft of TK. 300/- drawn in favor of Premier University, and

2.  A 10”x 8” size self-addressed envelope with postage stamp of TK.25.00.
